Introducing the Blue Fox ST1

The revolutionary drowning prevention system that you can use whenever and wherever you want without installation.

Patent: USA:  US 10,692,348 B2 und US 9,183,721 B2.  Worldwide patent applications.

Take a closer look.

A concentrate of mechanical and electronic engineering signed swiss made that will save your life.

With a striking design in four colours and a weight of 70 grams, the Blue Fox ST1 adapts from infants to larger wrists for maximum comfort and safety in the water.

And with a lithium polymer battery, we guarantee 72 hours or 3 months of standby use*.

You can use it everywhere without any installation.
To stay safe: in your home pool, on holiday by the sea or lake and wherever you want.

Just put it on and jump in the water.

How does it work?

The Blue Fox ST1 switches on automatically as soon as you enter the water and constantly measures your swimming.

In case of drowning, the Blue Fox ST1 detects, thanks to the very precise pressure sensor, that the swimmer knows how to go down to the bottom, triggering the count to trigger the alarm, in a completely automatic way.

The alarm criteria can be set according to the user’s description.

Once the alarm is confirmed, the Blue Fox ST1 releases the capsule equipped with a balloon that is inflated by the gas inside it, so as to reach the surface in a few seconds and give the sound alarm at +100 dB.

At this point it will be easy to tell the people around us that we are in trouble and the rescue procedure will begin immediately. A strong white light will be emitted from the bracelet that will remain attached to our wrist, so that we can be easily spotted by the people who are rescuing us.

How to configure it

The Blue Fox ST1 recognizes a possible drowning by measuring depth and swimming time, once a certain time is exceeded below a certain depth the alarm is triggered.

The depth and time can be set by the user by connecting the Blue Fox ST1 to the PC with the USB cable using the appropriate software.

Let’s look at a particoular example:

With a Blue Fox ST1 configured with alarm criteria:
50 Centimeters / 15 Seconds

  • The swimmer dives into the water above 50 cm depth and then climbs up above this threshold within 12 seconds: NO ALARM.
  • Then he swim in a depth between the surface and 50 cm for 24 seconds: NO ALARM.
  • Finally he goes down below 50 cm without going up again, exceeding 15 seconds: ALARM.

Accessories for Blue Fox ST1

PADLOCK

Even more security!

In order to prevent children from taking the bracelet off by themselves, thus no longer being safe from possible drowning, we thought of a padlock that fits easily onto the upper strap.
Once mounted, simply put on the Blue Fox ST1 by running the lower strap through the buckle and padlock and then close it with the appropriate key.

CHARGING BAR

A sensational recharge!

Designed for those with special needs: with this uniquely designed aluminium charging bar, equipped with a powerful power supply, you can charge up to five Blue Fox ST1 at the same time.

Introducing the Pool Safety System

To monitor your pool 24 hours a day.

The Pool Safety System (Private) is a system that can be installed in your pool with which you can ensure the highest level of safety for you, your loved ones and your neighbours.

Through two modes of use:

ACTIVE PROTECTION

With the active protection the system monitors swimmers wearing the bracelet, which measures depth and swimming time. It detects a possible drowning when the swimmer stays underwater for too long and triggers the alarm.

PASSIVE PROTECTION

With passive protection, the system monitors the pool when not in use. The sensors installed inside the pool constantly measure the water mass: if someone falls into the water, the system will immediately trigger the alarm.

ACTIVE PROTECTION

In this mode the system constantly monitors all swimmers wearing the WU2 bracelet.

The bracelet measures the depth and the swimming time, detecting if the person stays too long underwater: in this case it is clear that the swimmer is in difficulty and will emit an ultrasound signal that will be picked up by the sensors installed in the pool and will trigger the alarm.

The alarm criteria can be set according to the user’s description.

In the picture on the right you can admire the WU2 bracelet.
With an amazing design and a weight of just 35 grams the WU2 fits from infants to the largest wrists for maximum safety in the water.

SWISS MADE

The WU2 switches on automatically as soon as you enter the water and constantly measures your swimming.

In case of drowning, the WU2 detects, thanks to the very precise pressure sensor, that the swimmer knows how to go down to the bottom, triggering the count to trigger the alarm, fully automatically.

Once the alarm is confirmed, the WU2 emits an ultrasonic signal which is immediately picked up by the sensors installed inside the pool, triggering the alarm. A strong white light is emitted from the bracelet, so that we can be easily identified by the people who will help us.

How to configure it

The WU2 recognizes a possible drowning by measuring depth and swimming time, once a certain time is exceeded below a certain depth the alarm is triggered.

The depth and time can be set by the user by connecting the WU2 to the PC with the USB cable using the appropriate software.

Let’s look at a particular example:

With a WU2 configured with alarm criteria:
50 Centimeters / 15 Seconds

  • The swimmer dives into the water above 50 cm depth and then climbs up above this threshold within 12 seconds: NO ALARM.
  • Then he swim in a depth between the surface and 50 cm for 24 seconds: NO ALARM.
  • Finally he goes down below 50 cm without going up again, exceeding 15 seconds: ALARM.

PASSIVE PROTECTION

In this mode the system constantly monitors the pool when not in use. The sensors constantly measure the water mass: if a person falls into the water, the alarm will be triggered immediately.

Suitable for protecting infants, children and anyone else when the pool is not guarded and not wearing a wristband (WU2).

Master Alarm Unit

The Master Alarm Unit is the heart of the monitoring system, it detects and processes the data received from the sensors, then emits the alarm signal in acoustic, bright (+100 dB) and wireless form to the alarm repeater (USB Dongle) located inside your home.

With the keypad you can switch between passive and active mode, perform function tests, set a password to protect the system and adjust the sensitivity of the sensors for passive mode.

There are three different types of Master Alarm Units that vary according to design and measurement capability (pool size).

STANDARD
  • Master Alarm Unit made of high quality plastic with IP 65 watertight seal.
  • Mounting with surface mount.
  • Wireless transmission for alarm repeaters (USB Dongle)
  • One sensor: for pools up to *50 m².
PRO
  • Master Alarm Unit made of high quality plastic with IP 65 watertight seal.
  • Mounting with surface mount.
  • Wireless transmission for alarm repeaters (USB Dongle).
  • Up to two sensors: for pools up to *100 m².
TOUCH
  • Master Alarm Unit in high quality tempered glass with IP 65 watertight seal.
  • Flush-mounting in masonry.
  • Wireless transmission for alarm repeaters (USB Dongle).
  • Touch controls.
  • Up to four sensors: for pools up to *200 m².

*The maximum size is indicative: capacity may vary depending on the shape of the pool.

Alarm Repeater (USB Dongle)

The alarm repeater (USB Dongle) is the device that allows you to repeat the alarm of the Master Alarm Unit.

You can, for example, plug it into the socket in your kitchen, where you are preparing dinner and there is the noise of the hood; in your study; in your neighbor’s house and wherever you want.

This way you will always hear the alarm: even if you are away from the pool, inside the house.

Sensors

As explained in the previous illustrations the Pool Safety System to work requires one or more sensors installed in your pool.

They are designed watertight to stay underwater for life* and consist of two transducers: one ultrasonic for active mode and the other pressure transducer for passive mode.

They are installed** in your pool using specially engineered brackets that vary depending on the type of pool.

*means the useful life of the same;
 **the installation requires the support of a technician;
